A couple of weeks ago Madie asked if she could come over when we were ready to mop the floor upstairs. I am certainly not above turning away help, especially when said help has offered to clean up dirt (and accepts Red Vines as payment). This afternoon I picked up Madie and we headed over to the building to make that upstairs floor shine. We picked up tools and garbage and boxes and bubble wrap and threw out that which needed to be thrown out and kept that which needed to be kept. Then we each grabbed a broom and swept the floor upstairs, and down the stairs into the hallway. Filthy. Dusty. Ah-choo! Then came the good part – the wet mop. Or at least, a Swiffer with a wet cleaning pad on it. Scratch that. Not just one wet cleaning pad – make that Six wet cleaning pads.
In the picture you can very easily see the line of where Madie has already cleaned, and what hasn’t been done yet.
While us gals worked on the floors, Justin hung the bi-fold door to the closet. Three doorways done, two to go.
